This probably constitutes banjo abuse in some people’s ears. I don’t give a shit. For me, a banjo is a primitive instrument and I believe it is best pursued with instinct… rather than forced into some Western convention (such as the case with way too much Bluegrass…). My instincts tell me to tune it to C-sharp minor, play it with a slide, let it sing songs of darkness and hard truth… and…
